About me

Kylie is a visual artist and teacher whose practice is informed by her experiences living across Australia.

Raised in Melbourne, she has spent time in Darwin, Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney and Adelaide. Her work draws inspiration from the natural environment and the animals that inhabit it. Themes of adaptation and transformation underpin her practice, expressed through a strong and deliberate use of colour and shape.

Through her work, Kylie reflects on the quiet relationships between place and the interconnectedness of animals, expressed through vibrant acrylic paintings and detailed pencil drawings.
